Trinity United Church’s 2019 financial statements (unaudited) are now available for review. David Green, Treasurer would be happy to discuss the statements for anyone wishing. An online “fireside chat” will be scheduled soon for al those interested and the discussion will include a review of 2019 results, 2020 year to date, and forecasted expenditures and budget for 2020. Governance at Trinity
Each Year at the Annual Congregational Meeting, elections are held for positions in Trinity’s governance system.
Gifts
Today in Children’s Church, the children made “gifts” for Jesus out of playdoh, in response to the story, “The Three Wise Women”. The gifts included LOVE, more gold, a decent roof, fresh hay, a dog, a blanket, a couch, a bowl of noodles, and some other indiscernible but generous gifts. In everything, they offered the gift of friendship.
New Lead Minister Announced
The Trinity United Church Search Committee is pleased to announce that Robin Jacobson will be our next Lead Minister! Robin comes to Trinity United from North Lonsdale United Church in North Vancouver, where he served for eighteen years.

EFAN SPRING MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
Trinity United Church Outreach Committee is one of the founding members of the EMERGENCY FOOD ACTION NETWORK. Service and faith groups meet twice/year to share information and resources to address emergency food issues in the North Okanagan. Partnerships formed at EFAN inform many TUC Outreach initiatives. Vernon Food Bank: registering 5 new clients/week. To access the Food Bank you must register to get a hamper once every 2 months plus 1 emergency hamper/year. Trinity Pays Tribute to Rev. Dr. Jeff Seaton
On Sunday, April 15, 2018, Rev. Dr. Jeff Seaton and the Trinity congregation held a special service to end their covenanted relationship of seven years. Supply Minister, Rev. Liz Bowyer conducted the worship service. Kamloops Okanagan Presbytery Minister, Allison Rennie narrated the Gospel of Luke story where Jesus appeared to his followers on the road to Emmaus. Winter Wonderland Dinner and Dance
Let’s face it! January is the most blah month of the year and it goes on forever!
