Worship

Online Each week a live stream video is available on Sunday morning. Check Worship Services for the latest, or a recording of past services. This continues even as in-person worship resumes. In Person In person worship was suspended due to Covid-19, but has resumed as of  March 6, 2022. [As of April 1, 2022: Wearing masks is recommended and being vaccinated is required. Children, Youth & Family

The Children, Youth & Family Ministry facilitates the involvement, engagement, and spiritual growth of children, young people and their families at Trinity United Church. We encourage the inclusion of children as partners in our faith community with worth and gifts to share. Our programs and services are intentionally inclusive; everyone is welcome, including children with varying abilities, backgrounds, families and faith experiences. Outreach

Social Justice is a Christian practise Trinity takes seriously. Act Locally Watch for the various events where we act locally. Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care Ministry is made up of many parts. Pastoral Care Team Hospital and Care Home visits are a major concern of the pastoral care committee. We try to support those in our congregation who are going through a stressful time or who are unable to attend services. As well as the Hospital visiting team we try to connect through cards and phone calls. The pastoral care committee continues to respond to requests through the Trinity office and from individuals. Trinity has many caring communities. Amongst these are the United Church Women (UCW), the Men’s Group and the Supper Club.

Learning

Bible Study Bible Study takes place Tuesday mornings at 10am. Everyone is welcome. We discuss the upcoming lectionary readings. Advent and Lent Studies There is usually a special study during these two times of “preparation.” Book Club The group meets the fourth Tuesday of the month from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room. Members take turns choosing and leading discussions on books of fiction and non-fiction. Discussions are lively and members report they look forward to attending. At the present…
