Hello, Trinity friends!
I am very happy to accept your invitation to come and experience church life together for the season of Lent and into the season of Easter this year.
Here is a little about my background: I am newly retired from full time ministry after having served in solo and team ministries in both rural and urban United Church congregations, starting first in the Kootenays, then the central heartlands of Alberta, and most recently in Vancouver.
I discerned a call to ministry in 2001 and was eventually commissioned to the ministry of education, service, and pastoral care in 2007.
Prior to that, I enjoyed raising my family in Naramata, living and learning about community at Naramata Centre, and working as a health professional in Penticton.
I currently feel blessed to be able to live near my two adult daughters and their spouses in the False Creek area of Vancouver. That said, I am very pleased to accept the invitation to be with you in a ¾ time ministry supply capacity for the next three months.
I very much look forward to getting to know you in your life as a church family as you engage in your various expressions of ministry aimed at living out your mission to love like Jesus.
